From Army Captain to Undefeated Professional Boxer
U.S. Army veteran and former captain Kendall D. Harris discovered the sport of boxing later than most. At 19, the Texas native stepped into an old-school boxing gym in San Antonio, Texas, and laced up his first pair of gloves. Despite his late start, Kendall’s determination and athleticism propelled him to early success.
While attending the University of Texas at San Antonio, Kendall boxed throughout his four years of college. In 2014, he earned gold medals at both the Texas State Games and the San Antonio Regional Golden Gloves. That same year, Kendall graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and was commissioned into the U.S. Army as a logistics officer.
During his four years of service, Kendall held multiple logistical management roles and traveled the world. In 2017, he decided to pursue his boxing dreams further and tried out for the All-Army National Boxing Team. Not only did he make the team, but he quickly became one of the most accomplished heavyweight boxers to ever represent the Army. Kendall claimed two consecutive All-Army Heavyweight titles and earned a silver medal at the prestigious Police Athletic League National Tournament in Oxnard, California.
Following his success, Kendall was selected for the Army’s elite Olympic World Class Athlete Program, where he competed in national boxing events while simultaneously serving as a professional military officer and promoting the U.S. Army on a global stage.
After 10 years of distinguished military service, Kendall transitioned to professional boxing, signing with a boxing management team and launching his company, NoDaysOff Fitness LLC. Currently undefeated as a professional boxer and coach, Kendall continues to excel in the ring while inspiring others through his fitness business.
He doesn’t plan on slowing down—or losing—anytime soon!
